Hands-on with AI

Has always built side projects to stay hands-on, writing the code himself, and lately builds most of them with AI coding tools. At UW, his graduate research centered on LLM-powered experiences, including how people come to trust them. More projects: GitHub (opens in a new tab).

  • Mood Light: A sentiment classifier that drives an Arduino light. TF-IDF features and logistic regression, trained on 27K labeled tweets; predictions reach the board over serial. Stack: Python, scikit-learn, Arduino. Demo (opens in a new tab) · Code (opens in a new tab)
  • Soundscapes of Place: A browser instrument that synthesizes city ambience in real time with the Web Audio API, from oscillators, filtered noise and envelopes rather than recordings. Stack: TypeScript, Web Audio API. Demo (opens in a new tab) · Code (opens in a new tab)
